Review for Slap Count

We found it astonishingly challenging to play (the stress of the competition!) and made several mistakes which were embarrassing. The challenge of finding the d electron count was unexpectedly fun.

Review for SeArCH

I work for UCI Extension, where I'm assigned a group of international students to talk to and practice their English with. My current group is composed of high schoolers from China who are doing a program with UCI specifically for science and technology, so I decided it would be great to test out this card game with them. It went really well! Not only was it great for learning the elements, it was also a perfect opportunity for them to practice their English and for us to go over certain foods and animals in English.

Review for SeArCH

This game is a fun game, whether you're in the process of learning chemistry or you've studied chemistry for years. This is an excellent way to stay on top of your feet with element symbols. Much more, It is an intriguing way to study. I like the fact that your knowledge of the various categories can aid you as you're trying to remember those symbols. I loved this game from the start. It would make a great game for a party full of chemists. 5 stars.

Review for Slap Count

If you're competitive like me, this is the game to play! At first, I realized it was more in the field of inorganic chemistry game, so I thought I wouldn't care for it. Honestly, I couldn't remember much about the d-orbital rules at all. But after watching a few others play the game, I caught on and jumped in. I did not win, but I had a lot of fun refreshing my memory (and slapping the table, even when I was wrong). This game is a good way to study for a general chemistry course and still have fun.
